Why Eicher Polaris didn’t researched well before launching Multix?
Body, ground clearance seems perfect But there’s no way to stop loud sound of a single cylinder engine (it should be at least 2-cylinder with 600cc and top speed should be at least 80 kmph, fuel eficiency in 20-25 would have been fair enough to garner better torque n power). Lastly fuel tank is heavily missed in 10 ltr not by making it 20 ltrs atleast. Am a Tata Ace Zip owner and I hate those things and it has serious issues when you use it.
The Multix has been made with the intention of a utility vehicle with more than one use. Most of the competitors in the market are specific to their work like passenger carrier or load carrier. The functions of the vehicle cannot be interchanged in more than 90 percent of the cases. MultiX is really a multi-tasker as it can be used as everything according to the requirement. A person wishes to carry passengers, he has the 4-passenger space with comfortable ingress and egress. He wish to include load carrying business(vegetable and fruit packets of 20, 30 or 50 kg etc) in the morning before his passenger carrier business, he has the large 918 liters of boot space. He can work as a part time generator supplier in case of emergency as his MultiX can also do the same. These possibilities are not available in any of the other vehicle in the market. The fact that it has a small tank is really disappointing, but MultiX has been built to work in the city where a person regularly passes through petrol pumps. The sound of the commercial vehicles have been reduced by the new regulations of the NVH levels and the vehicle has passed the test also. It comes with a price tag of INR 2,72,000 for the higher end model.
