I was planning to buy a Samsung Note. With the launch of the Note 9, I am a bit confused between it and the Note 8.
Note 9 was hyped as a big reveal but there were not many new features that made it to the Note 9. The fingerprint sensor was moved to a more convenient location, which was basically the most problametic thing in the Note 8. Other new features included a bluetooth-enabled S-Pen and bigger storage options. The price difference between the two phones is nearly INR 12,000 currently and if you feel that you do not require the new features and can make-do with the positioning of the fingerprint sensor, you should go for the Note 8 rather than the Note 9.
