When is Toyota going to launch Rush in India? What will be the expected price?
Toyota has no plans for the launch of Rush, the compact SUV in India. The basic reason behind the no launch plan is said to be the availability of petrol engine only. This restricts the car to a very tight public response, making it a non-successful SUV. The car gets the power from a 1495 cc, 107.5 BHP engine, with a maximum torque value of 141 NM. It was expected with a cost of INR 9.5 lakh, making it non feasible as Ford Ecosport offers the nearest for few lakhs less than the Rush. It comes with ABS but disc brakes for the front wheels only. Hyundai Creta’s top petrol model would have been much more preferred even if the car would have been launched.
