Hi, I am Deepak. I would like to upgrade my bike from Discover 100cc. I have 4 bikes in my list,, RE Thunderbird 350, Classic 350, Suzuki Gixxer and Suzuki Gixxer SF. Pls suggest a bike for me from the list. I will use my discover for daily use and i need a good bike for weekend long drives. I will travel upto 200kms in a day on weekend trip and planned to reach 300 to 400kms mark in a day. I love these 4 bikes and thats why I am confused. Please suggest a good bike with its pros and cons. My Budget is under 1 Lakh, and I will go for 2nd hand bikes in case of RE. Incase if u have any bikes other than in this list, can also suggest. Note: 1). I’m 5.5 ft tall and have avg width and weight. 2). Searching bikes suitable for long and adventurous rides. 3). Fuel consumption- 40 to 50 kms/lit.

Suzuki Gixxer or RE Thunderbird is not suitable for long and adventurous rides.. I think your best choice is RE Classic 350..

The best bike option under your budget would be the Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition. Suzuki has made the bike with lots of precision when it comes to its performance, styling and dynamics. The best part of the bike is its mileage, which it will definitely return between 40-50 kmpl. The bike comes with a 154.9 cc engine, which is good enough for a lot of fun on the highway. The bike has been tested in a wind tunnel in which the Hayabusa was tested. With its fully faired design, it is more fun to ride on highways than its naked sibling. You can easily ride it for long distances as the seat positioning and height is comfortable enough for your height. It also comes under 1 lac, considering all the charges related to the registration and insurance. The bike has a totally different appeal and riding it on normal roads will make people turn their heads and check the SF’s MotoGP inspired design and visual language. You should definitely choose the SF for your new bike. Other bikes in the list includes a Pulsar AS150, which is a good bike but not as refined as the Gixxer SF.
