The same engine can produce two different power values as the engineers do not always get 100 % out of the power production capacities of an engine. The higher value 16 HP is generated at a different level, making the engine lesser efficient whereas the lower value 11 HP is carried because the model also requires a higher fuel efficiency. The level of tuning in the engine has not been disclosed by the company and the technique is quiet smart as making two different engine for the same would have increased the cost and decreased the effectiveness of the advertisement by the company. The same example comes in the motorcycle world, where Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, RS200 and KTM 200 Duke uses the same engine. With different tuning and modifications, they produce 23.17 BHP, 24.2 BHP and 24.6 BHP respectively, with the decrease in mileage in the opposite order.
