Yamaha R3 comes with a light sound when compared to the roar of the R1. The sound difference comes with the number of cylinders being used in a bike. The Yamaha R1 is a 4-cylinder machine with specially composed exhaust note for different range of rpm’s whereas the R3 comes with a twin cylinder arrangement and quiet natural exhaust sound. R3 comes with a 321cc engine producing 41.4 BHP @ 10,750 rpm and 29.6 NM @ 9,000 rpm. The gearbox is a constant mesh, 6-speed manual unit. R3 comes with a price tag of INR 3,25,000.
