I’ve read Pulsar RS200 specifications … In that I didn’t understand the use of ABS in the braking system.. what does it exactly do?
The Pulsar RS200 has a double disc braking system, out of which the front disc uses ABS. It stands for Anti-lock Braking system. The Pulsar uses a single channel ABS, meaning that it only works at a single tyre only. The front ABS helps in preventing the locking up of tyre and handle in abrupt braking, leading to lesser chances of skidding of the bike in that case. It also aids the rider in bad weather conditions, making way for a safe ride everytime. ABS prevents the brakes to be applied once in full, it release the calipers for a short interval and then again grab it for an efficient braking system.
