TVS has no plans for the re-launch of Spectra scooter in India. It was heavy weighing at 130 kg, with a ground clearance of only 130 mm. The technology was not so advanced for the scooter, with non availability of tubeless tyres on the scooter. It cam with a kick start only, making it an odd option to choose when other brands introduced self start light weight scooters in the market.
