I live in NCR. I have a Hyundai i10 Magna petrol 2008-09 mode. I want to install CNG kit. So I want to know that I should go to Hyundai for installing CNG or should I go to any local car mechanic who install the CNG? What will be the cost if I take my car to Hyundai for CNG and what will be the cost if I take it to local mechanic? Which would be better for installing CNG – Company or local mechanic? Also want to know what measures I need to take before and after installing cng? what all should I know about it? Please reply as soon as possible
The car comes with a company fitted LPG kit in the current selling Sportz model and you can get the same kit fitted into your car with ease. The fitting of a CNG or LPG kit for the aftermarket shops would cost you nearly half the price of the kit which would be available in the service center but the quality and fitting of the kit from authorized service center would be much better than that of the aftermarket kit. You can know the exact price of the kit by calling your nearest Hyundai service center and inquiring about the product. The measures to be taken with the kit would be explained in detail by the representative of the service center.
