Bajaj Pulsar RS200 – What do you mean by ABS & non-ABS?
ABS stands for Anti-lock Braking System. The technology is used to prevent the locking of wheel while braking, which helps in preventing the skidding phenomenon on rough or wet surfaces. It also reduces the chances of accidents by efficiently putting the vehicle to the halt. The RS200 comes with a single channel ABS, which means that one wheel of the bike comes equipped with this technology. The brakes are equipped with sensors, which measure the speed of tyre and releases the brake calipers in such an order that the wheel does not lose traction. The non-ABS version of the bike comes with a price tag of INR 1,18,000 whereas the ABS version comes at INR 1,30,000.
