What are the conditions which a person must satisfy to be eligible for election as a Vice-President?

To be eligible for election as Vice-President, a person: (i) must be citizen of India; (ii) must have completed the age of 35 years; (iii) must be qualified for election as a member of the Rajya Sabha.
He should also fulfil the following conditions:
(1) He must not hold any office of profit under the Union Government or the Government of a State or any local authority subject to the control of any of these Governments. (2) He must not be a convict of a court of law. (3) He must not be an insolvent, (4) He must not be of unsound mind.
