ankita wadehra | We recycle everything we can but first try not to bring into the house things that are not fully disposable. We take cloth bags to the market or use paper not those plastic bags, as we can reuse the paper for draining things. And we can use them to start our wood stove. We use the wood from our property to burn for winter heat. We chip the little stuff for mulch. We compost all our kitchen garbage or feed it to the chickens, no food disposal for us. We try to better our woods environment by planting natives and improving the wetlands around our pond. We have a high tech new peat bio system for our septic system to keep things extra clean since we live so close to a watershed. We do not sue detergents, only soaps and we make our own soap at times.
